Strength to walk for forty days and forty nights.To walk all the way to the mountain of God. To find your way to him.
Why do I demand perfection in my heart of hearts? Why do I constantly compare myself to others or where I feel I should have attained?
Father God. I know I am empty. I have been doing things my way and I am not happy. I want to do things your way, but I am afraid. I am afraid I will fail again. I am afraid you aren’t there and this isn’t real. But Father, I am going to take this first step of trusting in you. I ask you to adopt me into your family. I want to be yours.
